I'm looking to add more highs to the sonata, should I be alright just upgrading the factory tweeters or keeping the factory tweeters and adding some in the b pillars. Possibly even the c pillars since its hard to hear any highs in the backseat with the door speakers being low and soon to be subs in the trunk

is this so people who sit in your back seat can hear more highs?

if so, upgrading your factory's arent going to help that all that much.. it may be more clear in the front, but i dont think (unless you direct the tweeters towards the back seats) that the back seat passengers would benefit as much..

i could be wrong though...

Most better audio setups focus purely on the front. Some higher end cars don't even have rear speakers and many "audiophiles" elominate them. If they are there it mainly for a little fill. I chnaged my rear speakers in my Corolla when my speakers blew with a set of JL Audio components (upgrade from the coax that was there). It sounded horrible and totally moved the soundstage to behind my head. Kinda like going to a concert and keeping your back to the stage and band. Would you do that? Highly unlikely as your body likes to focus on where the sound is coming from. Bass is omni directional so does not draw attention that way.

If you think you might like it, run some speaker wires and tweeters using tape to mount to see how it sounds. You'll probably hate it.
