All lb-ft measurements, and I'll give you front and rear for future reference...

Front strut nut to body = 32.5~43.4
Front strut bolt to knuckle = 112.1~126.6
Front strut self-locking nut = 43.4~50.6

Rear shock bolt to body = 101.3~115.7
Rear shock nut to rear carrier = 72.3~86.8

 

Trust me Neil, you might consider wearing a truss when doing those rear bolts. :wink2: 101.3~115.7 doesn't look like much, I know. BUT.... Not done safely? You can get light in the loafers in a hurry! :grin:

 

How on earth am I gonna get a torque wrench in there to hit 115.7 on that top bolt!? Sigh.

Ok, it wasn't bad at all. One of the easiest DIYs I've ever done. Two new shocks installed, woot!

What brand of shocks did you install? I see you are from Washington state so you don't have a lot of rust.
I changed rear shocks and the bottom drivers side bushing sleeve was rusted to the bolt. I had to heat it up three
times before I took vise grips to remove sleeve.

 

Does anyone happen to know what the bottom nut is? Mine is shot and I need to get a new one. Seems to be an M14, but not sure on thread. Thanks!
