Should I wait it out to replace OEM tires till it wears down or will it make a difference InThe ride, fuel economy, comfort, if I replace it as soon as possible? 2015 Eco has about 800 miles.

If so, what tires should I get?
If not, how long should I wait?

What are you hoping the new tires will do?

I'm only asking because if it's ride comfort, getting new tires could make sense for that reason.

If it's fuel economy, you're probably better off just letting the tires that you already paid for remain on the vehicle until the wear dictates new tires. I doubt the cost of new tires would offset the increase in MPG over the life of the tires.

I'm asking opinion if getting new tires will help with fuel economy, comfort, and quietness. Would like to get Michelin tires.

I'm hoping OEM tires will last to the point it is will be quiet and comfortable for some time to come. I've heard OEM tires don't last long in those areas so
I don't plan to buy new tires anytime soon. Just asking some opinions.

If you want to maintain new car levels of quietness, cross rotate the tires every 4000-5000 miles. LR to RF, RR to LF, LF to LR, RF to RR. Michelins are not always smoother riding than Kumho's and Hankooks so you might end up disappointed. I'd air down your current tires to 32 PSI from the factory recommended 34 PSI if ride comfort is a priority.

The new Kumho Solus XC tires are pretty good. I found they make a weird vibration on certain new kinds of asphalt, not a big deal. I will get Michelin MXM 4's when these wear out. I am curious on how these tires will do in the snow. I have a sport 2.0 and don't feel like spending another $750 for tires however you can sell the old ones on craigslist for about $300 so the new set will still set you back $450.

tough question to answer

that depends on several factors that will be different for every driver: % of city/hwy driving, climate, type of driver (granny vs aggressive)...

you will quickly tire of the OEM tires but they will last for 30-35k miles and will get noisier with age

I spent 2 hours this afternoon at 3 different tire places having the "cupping" of my crappy KUMHO Solus KH25 tires evaluated. I have 27k miles on them and they have gotten noisier lately right after the last recall where i had the tires rotated as part of the recall service. All said the same thing: cupping can be a problem with all tires but especially the kumhos and be happy you got 27k miles on them. Only one place tried to sell me new tires though...

for the new guys: put what you drive in your profile signature block; it helps.
