Steady Bearing Issue

This spring I will be replacing the third steady bearing; its seems to only last about 12 months.
So far its been replaced under warranty every time, but this seems to be more than just a bad bearing in the batch. The bearing seems to be symptom, what could be the underlying issue or issues?

I drive a 2009 and don't have a towing package on it.

Would really like to get some directions to start looking in before the warranty is out.

I've not hear of a 'steady bearing' anywhere but in this thread. What dhuang refers to is the 'carrier bearing' aka 'CV joint' between the two 'halves' of the driveshaft that will only exist on AWD Santa Fe models where power is being directed to the rear. Seems that for reasons unknown, different manufacturers have to make up their own names for this part. Hyundai calls this the 'center bearing'.

Yes, Hyundai replaces the entire drive shaft assembly if there's too much play or noise in the bearing.

No fluids are touched in the replacement process.

The reason i enquired because he referred to it as a 'Driveshaft' not a propeller shaft.
Propeller shaft will have a centre support bearing about half way along length of vehicle where as the right front driveshaft has a support bearing supporting the driveshaft via a bearing assemlby bolted onto cylinder block.
The driveshaft on the right front has a short length of shaft, then a support bearing then has an inner and outer cv joint between support bearing and hub assembly.
it doesnt look like he's posted anything since spring so i doubt we will hear from him.
