I have this issue on a 2004 XG350 (125k miles) - randomly when I try to start the engine, the engine turns very slow and un-even (speed varies). After a little bit it starts. Sometimes has no issues. Battery is 3 months old.
Is this a sign that the starter is on the way out? Or, based on experience, it can be something else?
