Have a 2016 sonata eco noticed a sound coming from the back upon closer inspection it appreared to be in the gas tank is it the fuel pump going bad? Where is the entry to the fuel tank located any repair manual online

I believe it's behind the rear-right passenger seat, under the floor covering (actually in the truck towards the front).
A bit soon for the pump to go bad, unless the car was often times driven low in gas. A faulty pump does not necessarily make more noise, may try simply turn the ignition to Acc without starting the engine, the pump should prime 1-2 seconds making a whirl then stay quiet. May use a scanner to read the pump duty cycle
