Another reference post by me for a quick reference!

Thought I'd put one together for those who are like me and need a paint code for their rear roof spoiler. I tried my best to find them all, with corresponding year and not sure if I got them all...

Paint code be found on manufacturers tag in the driver door opening on the "B" pillar :)

Just be careful to check your paint pen when you order it. I ordered one when I installed my spoiler many moons ago. Dealer got me one that said RER on the label.

Fast forward to after the install, I coat the edges of the holes with rust inhibitor then touchup paint. D**n color is nowhere near a match for what is actually on the car.

Luckily the only time you can see it is when the trunk is open. If I had filled scratch with this crap I probably would have made personal visit to the dealer in a rather agitated state.

I'll be getting my touchup paint from Dr Color from now on.

I know it's an old thread here but I thought I share my 2 cents on these paint codes. I recently had a new front bumper installed and painted according to the car's color cod and it doesn't match at all. Car's color code is TR on B pillar, thru dealer is TR2- when I gave them the VIN number and it's the same color. I'll let you fine folks here be the judge of that

I've seen a RER color code and it is also named Venetian Red Pearl, TR4 Sparkling Ruby- which I thought was what I had.
TR/TR2 Venetian Red Metallic
Anyhow, body shop is remixing formula to get a better match and have it repainted.

bumper repair color black - 2013 Sonata Limited

Hi,
I just had my bumper repaired and painted. It looks great, but in direct sunlight, the bumper has a sheen that almost looks like metal flake but more in a pin point fashion of non black color. But the rest of the body does not. Did the body shop use the wrong color code or could it be that I am comparing a plastic surface (the bumper) to a non-plastic surface?

Thanks,

Kevin
