This probably goes without sayin, have you sent a refresh signal from SiriusXM?

I should have been more descriptive. When I hit the radio button, top right on the 10.25" screen, it goes back to the main screen ( pic attached ). There is definitely a major software glitch. I did have Sirius refresh the signal as well. Not only do I not have Sirius, I can't get FM or AM ( not that I care )... it's just that they dont work. I am now reloading the November software update again.

 

Have you tried just rebooting the infotainment? (Use a pen to depress the reset pin near the volume knob to reboot)

 

Yes, I reset with pen, both for a short press ( which reset it ) and a longer press, which didnt seem to do anything.
I went to Hyundai and service guy mentioned they will likely replace head unit...that seems crazy for a software issue.

 

I had this with my SF just now. I reflashed with the same October 2022 Nav update and it fixed it. Hopefully, I don't need a new head unit, I wanted to avoid losing the car for a day a the dealer.

 

We just experienced this exact same problem on a long road trip. Now that we're back, I'll try the few suggestions noted here before I take it to the dealer. Talk about a pain!

This is a 2021 Sonata Hybrid, by the way. I installed the nav update in December 2022.

 

After replacing the head unit, at a considerable cost to Hyundai, when it happened a second time, Hyundai wouldn't pay for a new head unit. There's no reason to replace the head unit as it's a software issue. The dealer was able to get a software fix provided to them by Hyundai. So far, so good w my software fix.

 

I reinstalled the October 2022 update and everything's back to the way it was. What a pain, but at least I have the thumb drive if it happens again.

 

During a long trip, my wife and I used Android Auto and Apple Car play during our trip. When I tried to switch back to Sirius after playing Spotify, the Sirius channel woudn't show up properly and would show the attached picture. Sirius Channel Preparing Channel. Sometimes it would play a station but you couldn't change the channel. It got very glitchy and would go back to main screen ( attached pic ). Sometimes it wouldn't play at all, other times Sirius would quickly start and then revert back to the picture shown...very frustrating. Any help would be appreciated.

Have exactly the same problem after a long trip using Apple Car Play, did you find a fix?

 

Hyundai will do a software update. The tech referred to it as a patch. Anyway, attached is the paperwork I received from them w the software fix.

 

From the paperwork, it looks like they just reloaded the November update with maybe a patch in it? Anyways, V009 is outdated already, V010 is out (May Navigation Update). If everything is working for you as expected though, no need to update to the latest

 

I did upgrade to the May update and everything is working fine.

 

i am having same issue i have another thread about this issue. i have no sirio,s, no fm, no am and all driver profiles are gone.

 

It's a software issue that was corrected by the Hyundai dealer. It happened twice for me. PITA

 

How do you flash or update this unit. Mine is doing the same.

 

I had to bring it to Hyundai. It's under warranty. This is a snapshot of the repair that Hyundai did. All ha worked since the did a software fix.

 

I'm glad that the pic and information worked out for you. Yes, it is not a Sirius problem, it's a Hyundai software issue. I haven't had issues since they did the software fix.
