Marek75, are those windows visors OEM from Hyundai Mobis? Is there any difference in wind noise?
Not OEM. I ordered October 2012 on ebay. Difference in wind noise is not noticed.
Also mounted rear mudflaps were included together Side Step. A few days ago ordered a complete set front and rear just so I will have to sell to get the parcel

I like the chromed set too but I am stuck with what I have, which work fine with one exception. While the front will vent the heat without letting rain in when opened about 1/4" the rear will NOT. Check the enclosed pic. The arrow shows where the window opens up as soon as it starts down. I now have rain stains on both back doors.
Since the two in front work so well, all's good. As long as I know it is not going to rain I still use the rear to let the heat out, but in SC this time of the year and this close to the coast, we can count on showers or heavy rain from June to Sept.

For anyone waiting for side window deflectors from WeatherTech/MacNeil, I finally got a clear response from them about when. You won't like it.

I am sorry to hear that you have been provided inaccurate information regarding the side window deflector status for your vehicle. The deflectors are in development for the 2013 Santa Fe. According to the engineering staff, the front molds are nearing approval. Once approved, we usually see our first shipment in about two to three months. The rear set is still being worked on and we hope to have those parts available in six to eight months.

Does anyone know where i can order the 6pc window visors with the Chrome? All of the ebay listings were closed and the seller Sherwood Enterprise doesn't have any listed- :( I just got my 2013 Santa Fe a few months ago and I browse the site every day for tips on my new car... I absolutely LOVE my Santa Fe but i desperately need window visors, even the lightest rain causing water to pour into the car when they are even just cracked a tiny bit.

TIA

Hyundai "Mobis" OEM Door Visors

Hi there!

i bought the OEM door visors but found out that no clips included, they said that only 3M adhesive mounting and there are no clips as there are no holes, which make sense as the door visor from other cars always have these hole to connect the visors to the clips (or small brackets).

though there are spaces that seems to fit the clips which i kept on telling the salesman. but even me is not sure as i haven't seen one with the visors yet and even online can't find it. due to eagerness with the other accessories I've ordered, i took them.

Can somebody tell or show me a picture of the same door visors with clips, if there are? :3gears:

TIA!
dan

Just installed the Weather Tech vent shades. I ordered the light color which I think turned out to be the right choice. Here are a few pics.

Still waiting delivery of our SFS, we had the dealer throw in the front deflector and side visors as one of dealer incentives.

According to Hyundai's website it looks like the 'factory' visors do come with the chrome trim -- I could not remember what they looked like in the showroom but we shall soon find out (I hope there is chrome --fingers crossed).

Just wanted to confirm that we got the ones from the dealer with chrome trim, I consider 'factory' trim sine they had Hyundai's logo on them.

I bought the weather tech once a few months ago.

The fit is typical of weather tech, very good. The rear windows require a metal clip to apply pressure to hold them in place. It goes in the gap of the weatherstripping. It does a good job of holding them in place, and only causes a slight bump on the outside that's only noticeable if you're super anal!

I have not noticed any increase or decrease in wind noise while closed, when open you do get a a slight reduced amount of wind noise with a partially opened window.

i got these and ended throwing them away. i would not even sell them to the next person to get rid of a problem. I got them installed and the front windows crashed against the visor. I first thought i did it wrong but then did it again and again with the same results. I then took them to a window tinting place where they sell these and had them see if i was doing it wrong. At frost try same result, windows crashes with the vent, second try and probably because of the many times i did it and the tinting place did it, the flange that tucks in the window seal, cracked and broke off on the same area on both sides. I then emailed Weathertech and their response in short was," yes, some of these hit the window (so they knew) and its basically normal".. um no its not.. i dont need a burned window motor.. soon after that reply they made thier way to the dumpster.. 100$ gone..
i hope none of the above has happened to anyone here..

Im liking the chrome accented ones. Watching on ebay to soon buy it. Thx for the info everyone

Tried the Weathertechs on my 2016 Accent hatchback today. Put them on and after 2 min took them off. Had the whole window closing at an angle so bad that you could see the tint line on the sides. Going back immediately. Trying the SAFE ones off of ebay for half the money. I mean if you think about it the car wasn't made to accept window visors in the actuall space where the windows go so it makes sense they dont fit for ****. They fit fine but not when you close the window.

The ones that "stick inside the windows" are not good on the door. With the "automatic reverse" on most modern power windows I found them "reversing" half the time when closing the window. An you can't stop it from fully reversing all the way down. Most times this happen in extreme cold or heat.
Weathertec said "yes, depending on the car and how sensitive the "reverse control" was. Off they came.

I got the stick on type on the outside. There are different versions and widths from the edge. My car has covers for all three side windows, the wife's just the two car doors, but they stick out more.
They have been on for just over a year.
