Hahahaha i'm for sure getting the shark fin, but it will be ordered next week. The purpose of asking if anyone was interested was to place a large group order to make it a little cheaper for everyone. Maybe after my bills are paid, i will order it this week to have it by next week's tint modification

 

if you are doing a group buy count me in!!! i love the look it will give to the car.....because paying 80 bucks for that it kind of hurts me paying it

 

In order to go ahead with a group buy, i think 10+ people would have to be in for the shark fin, and one person has already ordered one.

well i ordered mine today.. i paid my bills and after researching my funds i had enough. Now i am just crossing my fingers it will get here before next saturday for my tint and updated pictures

2-3 weeks is a long time for how much they charge for the thing.

 

they say 2-3 weeks so customers aren't calling them every day. At my job our catalog orders take only 5 business days, but they tell our customers 10-14 business days in case of holidays, or in case they have massive orders.

also since the job is done to match our factory paint color, i'm sure they dont have mass quantities on hand to ship on the next business day.

 

Im doing that antenna swap now...
However, Im using the 08 Sonata "shark fin" and not VG

Has anyone received there shark fin yet? I would really like to see one installed
on our cars.

 

i received mine today, took WAY longer then planned. in time for the meed in the bay this weekend though.. i work 12 hours tomorrow so i will try and get it installed today and take pictures. if not, then for sure on wednesday after i get off of work.

 

they look nice ...i just cant bring my self to pay that much for an antenna....lol

got mine installed today. It took awhile to get it perfectly straight, but other than that it was easy. Reception is the same as before, which is to say darn good.

 

Only the same as before? The reception in my car is crap, so it will not get worse at least.

okay this is a funny story, well no i'm mad as heck.. i just got home from work, making my total work hours worked for today 14 hours instead of 9. 7;30am-9:30pm.. sorry no pictures today. crossing fingers on friday since i work 12 hours tomorrow with my DM in the store.

 

i know that feeling i work over 60 hours a week(no OT!!!) just salary.....

 

yeah i live in California, and it is known as the special state. I get OT.. Although i slept in until 11pm today.. i work tomorrow so hopefully after work or for sure Sunday. i have Sunday off!

i actually may have a job working a mon-friday cush job making more per hour then my current job. although since i wont be making any OT, it is still making 300 less a month. but all holidays holidays off just like the state, benefits and i am not in charge, i think it will be better stress wise on my part.

 

So today is the day.. who is ready for the pictures? I'm getting the install all prepped as i type. All i have to do it get the boyfriend off of Call of Duty 4 to help me since he is a perfectionist.
