REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

1. Remove the in side handle mounting screw.

2. Loosen the door trim mounting screws(7EA), remove the trim using a trim remover, and then disconnect the power window switch connector.

NOTE: When using a trim remover, wrap it with a piece of cloth so it will not damage the painted surface.

3. Remove the door trim seal, speaker, and connector.
4. Installation is the reverse of removal.

Thanks for this. Now I understand why you asked the question. My thought was it was just the handle that broke, so I was able to order just that, but I now see there could be other part(s) that may be needed. I guess I'll know more once I open it up. This is very helpful.

 

Remove screw holding handle to door, wiggle it loose and look at the point where the 2 links fit, operate handle, does link sit there, or does it move with handle operation ?

 

Does anybody know what size screw the "side handle mounting screw" is? I can find the part number, but not the screw size. It's the only part I need, of course!
