I want to install a reverse camera on my I10 (2015 model). In order to do this, I will have to remove the rear bumper to access the numberplace light. Can anyone advise my how to remove the rear bumper? according to the service repair manual I should remove the muffler and remove the heat protect shield. Are these steps really required to remove the rear bumper?

I am wrestling with the fitting of a rear camera. I removed the number plate and tried to push the plug end of the camera through one of the holes but the gap between the bumper and the chassis is too narrow. If it did fit then its easy to run the cable under the boot through the grommet under the spare wheel and up into the car. Soooo close !
So I'd be grateful to know how/if you did it. Without drilling I hope.
