rear rotor removal

Does anyone have suggestions on how to pull off the rear rotors when they seem to be stuck on probably rusted on the hub? I've tried on pb blaster and a sledge hammer and it's not moving. Tried that YouTube trick with the bolts to pop it off but it does not line up right to push on the rotors. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Can't remember off hand, but does the rear rotor have a screw holding it on? If so, did you remove it? I sprayed some PB on it and let it set for about an hour. Then I used a sledge hammer (swinging lightly and letting the weight of the hammer do the work...) Also, there is just enough room to get the hammer in from the back side. If you have a rubber mallet, whack the heck out of it being careful not to mess up the threads of course. And spray the PB from the back side around the hat, not just on the front lugs. Good luck

I finally got rotor off:) I just started hitting harder with the sledge hammer and it finally loosened up. But, then the new rotor was not fitting right and looked like it was warped and it would rub against the caliper. So I put the old rotor back on and no issues. So I took my new rotors to have them checked for warp and with my own eyes saw that my new rotors are not warped. So I must be doing something wrong on installing them. It's dark now so I'll tackle this tomorrow.

make sure you clean all of the rust off the hub with a wire brush, or I used a dremel to get down to bare metal. Then grease the inside of the hat and the hub to prevent rusting on in the future. I have no idea why this is not done at the factory... and grease the screw before putting it back on the rotor so you don't strip it next time

Got the rotor to seat tight, it was that Phillips head screw that was throwing it out of whack. I just did not use that screw and now it rotates perfectly. But now I'm having trouble taking out the screw on the other rotor. It's not budging at all. How do I remove that screw?

Thanks for all the tips. I finally got it out. I just used a large bolt I had and a couple of whacks with the hammer seemed to do the trick.. thanks everyon:)e.
