Not too sure if it can through the Ipod cable... but you can have video through a 3.5mm to RCA cable. I've done this before, but there was a lot of feedback... as for it working on the new YF, it should, but I hope it fixes the issues we had with this first one.

i've got my ipod touch hooked up through the factory cable and don't see anything about playing videos, even when parked. If there is a way to do this can you give instructions? But, from my experience there isn't a way to play videos from the ipod.

I don't have an Ipod, but I'm sure you can use an Ipod video cable

then plug it into one of these... then plug it into the 3.5mm aux jack.

I used the same cable on the ebay page to plug my camera into. but like I said, it has lots of feedback... maybe its just the camera, I haven't tested anything else...
