Problems with Mirror Compass

I've got a 2016 Sonata Hybrid Limited/Ultimate. I've had an issue with the compass in the rear view mirror giving readings all over the place. Following the instructions in the owner's manual, I re-calibrated it and it seemed fine for a day or so, then it started giving bad readings again. And I don't mean subtle errors (like reading NW when I was going N), I mean reading S when I was going NW, etc.

Has anyone else had this kind of issue, and if so, was the entire mirror replaced under warranty?

If you live near a dealership you should probably take it in and have them check it out. My mirror is spot on and I have plenty of EMF interference near it: radar detector and dash camera mounted within millimeters.

Though now that I think about it, I feel like my mirror was off by a little bit (W instead NW/consistently off by around 45º) and slowly became more accurate over the course of the first week or so of ownership.
