So is the P/S oil low that you need to keep refilling the bottle ?

I checked the High pressure and return lines and ther ok, I have power steering fluid leaking on to the alternator,
The high pressure line pass by the alternator, so you need to have assistant start engine, you look at high pressure hose, and have assistant raise idle to maybe 1200 RPM, and hold steering wheel to lock so pump make max pressure.. keep eye on hose, you gots to have pin hole in hose the weee's the oil out under pressure..

Please tell me this isnt the rack.
Doubt it is rack,, not a common leak item.. majority is pressure hose. Do see occassional return tube also.. you just need to look a little closer for which line is wet, and watch for wee wee when steering wheel turn to lock..

Or did i miss something,
Concentrate on the pressure hose, my edgeemicated guess

I checked the pump and its not leaking.
8yr, not seen a 2.7 steering pump fault.
