2) Eyelids are simple, yet effective

Figure out how you want it to look in your head

Put it on paper

Cut out said paper and place on headlight

Once design is perfected transfer to cardboard (optional)

Transfer cardboard (paper) template onto chosen material
(i used CF vinyl for mine)

Stick and enjoy

I saw those on ebay, but I wanted mine to be thick. Those are barely noticeable lol. Do you have a pic of yours? & What exactly is the purpose of the strut bar?

Send me a pic of yours! I want them to be thick but I don't want them to be overkill. At the same time though I don't want them to be extremely thin.

 

The strut bar is definitely worth it. If you do any highway driving, it makes changing lanes at high speeds so much less sketchy.

 

With the strut bar, I could take corners with almost no body roll.

Oh yeah i remember! Yeah my style would probably cover those up! Maybe something of what leprakong has would be more suited for you.

Also i been playing with the idea of making the eyelids with the VHT spray tint. Put a lot of layers where i dont want light to go through and then a few layers where i need light to shine. I plan on changing up the style of my eyelids

 

leprakong is too small. but then again i dont know if i should put it on since my car is black and my headlights are almost blacked out

 

I think it would be awesome since it would all be black, you could in a sense shape the headlight how you want. Since everything is black your eyelids can almost melt into the body of your car making it seem like one piece, especially at night

Here's mine. They're on the old headlights for now. I haven't gotten to put them on the projector headlights yet.

what adhesive do i use so that i don't have to worry about them falling off?

 

The stuff i use has 3M backing... it aint ever coming off lol

 

Mine actually came with an adhesive tape already on them. They haven't budged for all the time I've had them. I think I've had them for almost a year now. If you go to walmart, there's an adhesive double sided tape. It kinda' looks like this: LINK

The tape is decently thick. That stuff would probably do the job. That's the stuff I'm gonna try when I redo the eyelids.

 

I have the DC Sports strut bar and made my own eyelids, both well worth it
