On the MyHundai account vehicle health page it shows how many miles before the next scheduled maintenance/service. I changed my own oil and it let me enter the service but I can't reset the miles due till the next service. Can I edit this or is only for a dealer to do?

I also noticed nothing changed when I input the oil change I did at 1K miles. I'm going on a long trip tomorrow, and will be back with almost the 7.5K Hyundai thinks my service is due (will never take it to dealer for that), so I'm not far from having to do that (with the late Dec trip). Hopefully somebody else will do the BlueLink suggestion, and see what happens. I disabled service notifications, but I'm sure it's not going to go away at the site, but hope it doesn't bother me on the car, which I wouldn't be happy about.

Hyundai told me to do this but it still doesn’t let me change the number of miles until its due again
Below are the instructions for updating the service records on MyHyundai.com

Step 1: Click the menu button and select Vehicle Health.

Step 2: Scroll down on the Vehicle Health page to Service History and select Add Service Record.

Step 3: Complete the date/location of the service and odometer reading at the time of service.

Step 4: Enter the maintenance or repair/replacement by checking the boxes.

NOTE: If Engine Oil and Filter is selected, it will notify Bluelink to reset the oil change alert for the vehicle (Maintenance Reminder feature).

Step 5: If any service/maintenance is not listed, add the completed service manually including additional info in the Notes section. Click Save when done.

Step 6: Saved service records can be viewed/printed/downloaded/emailed in the same section where it's accessed (Vehicle Health>under Servicing Dealer info).

This was true in the past; uploading service records such as an oil change would also send notification to the vehicle to reset the oil timer. This hasn't worked for quite some time now.

From what I have seen, there is no way to reset or adjust the counter on the MyHyundai account.

My entry didn't reset the miles either. I need to do a 2nd oil change now, at 6,771 miles, so it'll still be under the 7,500 mark Hyundai expects. We'll see if it resets this time, but I doubt it. I disabled the maintenance alerts in both the vehicle and website. It was bothering me to take the car to service when it was 2 months old and had less than 2K miles.

Did you first reset it in the car/infotainment screen?
I don't know if that would reset it in the website too, but you need to reset it in the car first anyway, just to keep track of it, and you can also reset to zero the accumulated miles in the cluster to keep track of the miles.

I just changed my oil, and I reset it in the car.
Also added it to the Hyundai website, uploading doc/pic was annoying, can only upload 2 things and if the name of one doc is too long, it will split it into 2 or 3 docs and link won't open.
I uploaded my receipt, named: " oil receipt, 1021 miles, nov 27, 2022" and it split it into 3 docs saying: "oil receipt" , "1021 miles" , "nov 27, 2022", so I had to change the name of the doc to :" oil receipt", then it uploaded as one doc and it worked. Have the keep the titles short or it will be all messed up.

If your file name included the commas as you indicated above the system most likely thought that you were adding 3 separate files because a comma is often used to allow the entry of multiple files or search criteria. Next time try using “oil receipt 1021 miles 11-27-2022”.
