Anyone have experience with these tires? is one better then the other for certain conditions?
I agree with duro. A few days ago I purchased a set of 14 inch steel rimsNiether, both way over priced for what they do
Ask your self this........do you do more city, or highway driving?
Highway - buy an Studless Ice Tire
City - buy a good deep lug snow tire
Michelin X-ice 2 tire is an excellent tire on ice, however in order to be good on ice it much have alot of surface area to grip the ice, thus makes it float and spin in deep snow and slush. Therefor if you drive the highway driving the X-ice2 tire is great, as you will probably never see deep snow, but you will see more ice, or black ice.
I personally like the firestone winterforce, as I do alot of city driving, with alittle highway. This tire has deep lugs to grip in snow and slush, however still better on ice than an all-season not to mention the price is very attractive and the best all-around winter tire in general, with out all the flash of advertising, and commercials to pay for
Just my 2 cents
