I was looking at some photos today and the US floor mats look different than the canadian ones. They look like they have a low pile, or are woven? IDK can someone please post pics, I'd rather have that than the canadian ones...

On my mats the carpet is completely crushed from my heel. I suppose partly because the fibres are so high.

They're not woven (at least mine aren't!)  They're a low pile -- higher than the fuzz  that's on the floor, but nothing too high.

I'll try to get a pic here in a bit.

I burnt a hole through mine inside of 3 months ownership... I had warranty replace them...
I didn't bother putting the new ones it, as I knew I'd burn through them too... so saving them for a few seasons...

Curious in the US ones... or others that may be used...

Here's mine.

No worn-down spots after 4.25 years, BUT bear in mind they have been well cared for as they never get touched.  YMMV on what would happen if they were acutally used. :innocent:  Since the day one, I have had another floor mat on top of the factory and that one gets all the abuse.  For the last couple of years I've had a generic set of all weather mats over these, so they cover a good majority of the mat.

Definitely look much better than the Canadian spec ones....
Thanks hoosieraccent for posting pics! :)

Mogal, I too had to have mine replaced under warranty. Under the heel the hole developed and the metal ring that held the mat to the floor started moving as well. The new mats are definitely much much better than the ones that came with the car. The underside seems to be made from a much harder rubber/plastic where as the originals were soft and pliable.

Mine look completely different than that.  I'll post a picture tomorrow hopefully.  Maybe I have the ones you're talking about.
