Love my Kona Limited but the one tone horn just sucks! :crying2: How to I go about replacing the horn with upper and lower notes? I have located the horns I need but would like to know what is involved in getting to the OE horn. Thanks

Horns working great.

Took the Kona to the dealer today, couldn't get anyone close to the house to help me protect the bumper. Yes, the bumper had to come off. I got a pair of horns off eBay from the G90. Except for the cost of the horns and the install the sound is well worth it. I guess after Hyundai threw everything but the kitchen sink on my Limited I guess it would have broken the bank to put two horns on at the factory. beep … beep my ass, I want to be heard.

PS:
The factory horn is behind the bumper on the left side.

Thanks for verifying where the feeble horn lives.

I too think the horn is ridiculous on a 2018 vehicle , I just ordered a set of Hella Horns off of Amazon and want to know if there are two horns or just one and what was the cost of the dealer to install them ?

Well, it says "Twin horns" and "High/Low", so there are two horns. One is a high tone and one is a low tone, and they make a two note...uh...(and I'm a musician...) "chord".

All you really have to do is find the horn, remove it and install these two. You may have to fabricate a bracket to hold them.

BTW, this may void your warranty...

It may help to take some English lessons. There is a difference between the words "HORN" and "HORNS". The Kona comes with 1, that's ONE HORN, mine now has 2, that's TWO HORNS. I hate to be such an ass but it burns my ass when people can't or don't want to take the time to read what has already been written.
