I have 2 of the 16GB sandisks. At 320kbps MP3 format, each one holds roughly 340 hours of music. They work flawlessly and one of them is always in the car and never taken out of the slot unless I put the other one in.

My only gripe is that I can not set it to all random so that it always plays that way. Every time I start the car I have to change it back to all random. GM vehicles have a permanent setting for this.

Folders yes, Playlists no. As a matter of fact if you ask the steering wheel lady to 'Show Folders' you can scroll the folders, hit enter to scroll files within the folder.

You can play random songs either within the folder or within the entire flash drive.

I was disappointed to find that you couldn't set up a good hierarchy of folders. For example you CAN set up your disc so that you have two high level folders, lets say Rock and Classical. Under Rock you can have sub folders for U2, Greenday and Coldplay. Under classical you could create sub folders for Beethoven, Mozart and Chopin.

But you couldn't play random Rock or Classical selections. In other words it could randomize Beethoven but not Classical.

Can you load the flash drive with a similar folder/file structure that is in the iTunes media folder? i.e. "Various artists"/"beatles"/"HeyJude"
My structure is folders of Artists Name\Album name\Songs. When scrolling through the music using te radio, it lists all the Albums in order of Artist name\Album. You select one, then see the songs. It's easy to navigate.

I prefer my stereo now over the one I traded in.........
Eclipse head unit, Xtant X1001 amp on a JL 10w7 tuned to 28hz, DLS comps on a xtant amp, 1/0 stinger HPM wiring and stinger dream RCA's and an Audiocontrol 30 band. This is not near as peaky even after spending a year tuning the last one.
