Have you seen this before? It's kind of cool. I like the horn on the shift knob. That's cool.

Did I not see the person in the video push a button on the front or top and activate the turn signal, or am I going nuts? (the latter being a real possibility :D )

EDIT...yeah check it out at around 20 seconds...he pushes one of the buttons at the top/front of the knob than the camera pans to the cluster showing the turn signal. Whew...not going nuts :D

I would not use this on my car... First because I never use the lever in manual mode so it's really only a couple of shifts each time I drive. Second because it's lit up and would be another thing to annoy me. The place in the SFS that has P, R, N, D, etc is already too bright and at night annoys me. I lowered the brightness of my dashboard but those letters don't seem to dim with the dashboard.

This is my first automatic car, therefore i always have my hand on the knob and the fact to have the horn on it add a lot and it looks more ''comfy'' than mine.
Otherwise it looks better, nice gadget, another way to be unique.
I'm not a plastidip nor ebay parts fan. It have to look OEM or it doesn't go on my car.

John, if you personnaly don't see anything interesting at first look why would you want my opinion on it? I like it, i pay for it, it's my truck, deal with it or don't comment.

Back in my younger days, my second, third, and fourth vehicles were standard shift. So I know the instinct of keeping your right hand on the shift knob. I still do that often. And I occasionally use the shiftronic to go through the gears just for old times sake.

I never said I didn't find anything interesting. I was just curious what you may have found interesting. The first half of your reply was interesting to me because I too was intrigued by the horn button on the shifter. With one hand usually on the steering wheel, it's not easy for me to quickly toot the horn. Plus, I was curious if you noticed something else, that I hadn't, that might be of interest to me.

I believe forum members should be allowed to ask questions without being chastised. For that reason, I find the second half of your post offensive.

I think it's cool alright but not for me. Way too much stuff on the gear shift knob. When I go to the manual mode I'd be blowing the horn, turning on the flashers, changing the radio station and flushing the toilet (if that is an option)!!:D
If you like it do it!! Seems like connection that many wires to the electrical system would be a nightmare though.
