Just Wondering About 2005 Elantra Keys?

I was thinking of getting making another set of keys for my elantra I was wondering if you know if they have a chip in them to start the ignition.?? Do i need to go to dealership

Any advice would be helpful.

US models don't have a chipped key- you can get it cut anywhere

True. But be aware that if the key fob was used to lock the door, unlocking it with a key instead of the fob will set the alarm off and the car will not start.
