its just as easy to remove the whole bumper. There's an additional 10mm bolt in the wheel wells and 4 screws on the bottom of the bumper. Once you have all of them removed, pull on the bumper from the wheel well. There are a few tabs that hold in place where it meets the fender. I used a small screwdriver to push the tabs down and release them.

Once its off, disconnect the fog lights (if you have them). Its doable alone but an extra pair of hands would help.
