Hello everyone just had a quick question. I noticed my rear camber was out on the one side , finally got everything checked out today and had hyundai canada involved because I figured my rear end was damaged. The alignment results showed that I have -1.6 in the rear for both sides and the other specs are good. The acceptable amount for the rear is -1.0 to -2.0 anyone else have this issue?

Rear align values on Accent is you get what you got.. in terms of maximizing tire life,,, no more than -0.5 degree is all anybody need... total toe on rear,,,, +0.20 be a nice MAX value,, prefer a bit less myself though... bet it has 2-3x that total if you look at you print.. you did get a print showing the current static align numbers ??

What are the numbers as the car sits currently ?

Sorry I will get a picture of the alignment sheet today. I just found it weird the I thought my camber was way off and sitting beside another accent mine looked really cambered on the one side. According to specs my car is perfectly aligned. I'm guessing the other couple of accents I see are out of alignment.

Only issue I have with it is fella will find his rear tires to wear prety quick if he dont keep them inflated and rotated all the time..

Still waiting to see what the measured align numbers were as taken when measured during inspection.

Yes! I have the same issue!

Finally someone else has the CORRECT amount of rear camber as I do. Thank god. I was beginning to think I had the only correctly built RB Accent within factory specs lol...:D

Mine's perfect and you should see the rear camber with my wheels and larger tires on. It "looks" off but in actuality it is perfect and handles fan-freaking-tastic.... And I'm not done with tuning and parts yet, so no pics from me till its done :)

It was probably fine because I only had 5L of gas left in my car
I should take it in with a full tank

Duncan, yours ought to drive pretty nice with slight toe-in at the front.. all look good and square at front

The rear kills me, donot see one with such minimal toe on the rear, usually they really STUPID for toe... though I would prefer to see the total toe cut in 1/2, and little more even/square per side, as the left is 18 in,, and right is 25 in, which toss the thrust line off a wee bit... as to the camber in the back, prefer to see them cut in 1/2,, the numbers Hyundai put them at is silly.

Michale..

Rear.. how you luck into a rear axle with next to no toe in.. that a nice low total number compared to some of the gross total toe I seen that Hyundai says acceptable.. .05 and .10 for a total of 15.. that may 1/4 to 1/3 of some I have seen.

Rear camber... OUCH.. -0.5 be nice and straight up/down,, 1.6 is tire leaning pretty good..

Front numbers good and square.. the 0.00 toe, coulda put a wee it of total toe-in to improve steering feel.. but I suspect the car drive pretty darn good as it is right now,, provided the tires got plenty of air in them.

Yeah it drives good I was just worried about tire wear due to camber but I was suprised that hyundai has it set to -1.5 . they are going for the cambered look from factory :) At least I won't have to Lower it to get that look
