High RPMs at 60mph?

What RPMs do you usually have on the highway with your accent? I'm driving a 2009 Accent GS and I'm running at ~2.8-3.2k around the 60MPH mark. Is that high? What do you all run at 60mph?

If I remember correctly, Tire Size on 2009 Hyundai Accent is:
- Default: P185/65R14 85H
- Alternate: P195/55R15 84V

If there's clearance room within its fenders, perhaps upgrading to P195/55R15 or P195/60R15 is better than current size???? To verify different engine RPMs and speedo reading changes, plug current size and larger size numbers into Tire size calculator

Note: When making rim &/or rubber size changes, remember to stay under 3% change. Thus, ensuring its speedo, ABS and ESC remain happy. If wondering, I changed rubber size on my previous vehicle and it did help. Wasn't a perfect solution but it did help better optimize its inefficient engine RPM to gear ratio final performance.

Hope this helps... Especially if you need to replace current rubber anyway...

Everybody who has been in my car comments at how high the rpms are in relation to speed. Just got back from west texas where we have 80mph limits, at 85mph its like 4.3k rpms. The nice thing about it is that going up mountains it has no problem at all maintaining that speed with the ac on. With my cc set, I was passing many larger v6 cars up the inclines, until going down them, as they had their cc set for a higher speed than I did. Later, I passed them again while they were stopped by the hwy patrol, lol.

Yeah mine start at like 65 and then kinda stop at 80 lol
my car can get to the 100... lol it takes a while but he gets there
LIES! hahaha :p
wheel balance, or some sort of issue with alignment or suspension.

I have no hubcentric rings, the wheels are centered by the lugs only, at least once a week I am crusing at 80mph or above on the highway, no vibrations at all.
See i had no hubcentric rings and it was way worse. My tires are balanced, and i had an alignment before the drop and wheels, maybe i should align it again?

Idk im just thinking about selling the rims anyways

You should get an alignment, but it won't help with your vibration. It's most likely the tires or rims, as you can balance almost any tire and rim, but that doesn't make em perfectly round. I always choose a high end wheel and tire, they tend to be made to stricter specifications. I have no vibration in my car at any speed, and yes my car easily exceeds 100 MPH.
