Help with accent gs with hubcaps!!!

Dear forum goers,

I would like to remove the hubcaps that came on my gs hatch (in order for me to do another mod-if i do it i will post it). I have done this before on other cars where there is either a screw or it just pops off but i have no idea how to get the accents off. How is the hubcap held on? Any help would be very appreciated!

Hyundai hubcaps are typically held on with the lug nuts.

you mean the cover on the steel rims, right?
they're just held by the four nuts and pops right off.

Lugnuts off, hub caps off.

so you have to remove all of the lug nuts to get the plastic cap off? That is such a bad design. Does that mean i have to jack up my car when i remove them because won't that make the wheels come off?

Yes, the lug nuts hold the hubcaps and wheels together on the car. You'll never loose a hubcap with this design.

AND the hubcaps turn true. I've seen too many Toyota's with out of round,push-on wheel covers that look rediculous.
