Can anyone show me a really descriptive step by step guide to installing the headlight and foglights? I already saw the video for wiring the headlights by Xenon Supply, but they didn't show how to get to the foglights and install them.

Also, I would like help on installing the sensor for the auto headlights and the installation for the replacement Plug n Play auto headlight switch from Shark Racing.

Thanks!

I'm mid way through the fog light/auto headlight install right now.

You need to take off the bumper to get at the fog lights. No way around this one unless you have 4 way jointed tiny hands.

I have another thread open already asking for some info on wiring and the auto headlight. you can find that here: http://www.hyundai-forums.com/231-md-2011-elantra/154152-add-oem-fog-lights-auto-headlights.html

This isn't the easiest of installs. I have most of the wiring laid already but I did have to remove the battery and ECM to get into the firewall area where a big harness enters into the cabin. I'm also not sure which kit you got but if it's the one that I have you will need to remove the steering wheel. That also includes the drivers airbag, which you need to be VERY careful with.

I am sorry what exactly you do that you must remove the sw?! You dont need to do it in order just to attach the switch on sw! You need to open up covers on sw and remove the switch it holds by few screws and put in a new one...You must run wires from the engine, but you dont need removing full dash for it.

Medellru, yes in order to swap the multi switch the steering wheel does need to come off. The switch slides over the steering shaft and includes the mounting for the wiper switch. You can kind of see what I'm talking about in the other thread I mentioned in the first picture.

Michael_V, the bumper being referred to is the plastic cover. I'm not even sure if the metal "bumper" behind it is removable, I think it's held on by rivets to the unibody.

Hi guys thanks for all your help and support.

I'm pretty sure I can remove the bumper pretty easily. I'm also thinking about buying the projector headlights on ebay (audi led type) for approx 320 CAD.

I have the following kit from shark racing.
Shark Racing

I am very scared of taking off the wheel! (Safety concerns obviously)

As for wiring, I'm thinking of connecting to the battery, but I require the relay and harness kit for anti flicker. I have no idea how to get into the cabin through the firewall. Apparently you need to get a metal clothes hanger to poke it through?
