If it’s $1000 then I gotta wait 10 weeks XD (Assuming I don’t somehow receive money from other sources). Other than that I’m down as long as it’s the sound of the first one in the video and not the second. Is this a quad exhaust or dual? Either way I’m sure it will be very good.

it will sound like the first one unless you pull your cat. Its going to have two 4.5 inch tips. something tells me it will be a chunky mount less than a grand. i wont get it if it is.. lol

The first one to me has that deeper “tuner” sound and the second has the “ricer” sound. For some people it’s all preference. I thought for the longest time that I would silence my exhaust somehow…so, yeah.

 

as for my exhaust system, i'm trying to make it into the budget range around 700.00, the exhaust system is going to be a 4.5 inch single tip dual exhaust system, and also trying to find a silencer that big to go into the tip to silence it for the long rides out of town with the family in the back seat. as for the r&d, we are waiting on the last fitment with the single cans to come in asap, as soon as that's up we are going to throw the car on the dyno, get some runs and see what it does.

Damnit, now I need to get some money XD For $700 with or w/out a GB, that’s a really good price. I would be interested in the silencer as well so I can either be loud or quiet

Hmm, for installation, I’m sure Hyundai isn’t going to do it So I can either take it to a body shop and pay quite a bit (I have no idea) or take it to my friends that are street racers and work for one of the body shops to do it for me on the side…suggestions?

 

its a direct bolt on, you can jack the car up yourself and do it.. my mechanic who is doing my intake install (for 40 bucks)said he will charge me 25 bucks to swap the system

 

I’ll probably have my street racer friend do it, he literally lives down the street from me
I’m not mechanically inclined with cars because I don’t trust myself enough to do something like this. I would prefer handing it over to someone and watching lol

Hey Concept 3, I actually like the look my stock SE exhaust tips...will there be a possibility of having choices in the tips?

And (have to try), do you need any cars to test? lol Mine is only 30 miles away and willing and ready to be used haha

 

I'd love to have a system where I can keep the factory tips as well. I like the stealth idea. For 700+ I'd definitely have to wait on a dyno or quarter slip for the investment though.

 

I don't see Megan Racing mentioned anywhere but is Concept III the same company? or are they just using the Megan Racing OE-RS catbacks with a different tip?

Yup, last I heard they're still under development, but they haven't updated anything since..would be interesting how this turns out, but I'm still keeping an eye out on the Sterlin F1 Variable Exhaust that PowerAxel might import for the Sonata/Optima Turbos.

 

When will the units be complete?

 

i'm using megan cans, for this setup. cause they are very cost friendly and they are willing to work with me. as for the eta on the release, next week after the test fit, and dyno runs, and everything works out fine, we will be able to get a eta from there

 

so at the earliest , like a month..

 

I'M IN!!!!! this is the kind of mod I was looking for!! can't wait to get some dyno runs and some videos of the setup we will get!!

its a job that does not require welding or anything.. unscrew, remove the stock, put new one in, screw it in.. done, shoudnt take any muffler shop more than a half hour

Hey will question.. is this going to be a fully stainless steel system? or are you doing partial to keep some of the cost down ?

 

it's a fully stainless system, and for updates i'll post more when i get some news form the manufacture.

 

i'm more of a don't cut guy, cause at the end, if you want to put everything back to normal, you can... and even have a chance on reselling the items.
