Hi Guys,
I notice a few small paint chips along the bottom of my front bumper probably from stones, I'm looking to touch it up myself but I'm not sure about the colour, it's the silver/grey area of the lower area of the bumper? Also found a few scuff marks along the black plastic bumper any tips on removing these as well?

your vin sticker on the inside of the driver door will have your color code. go to the dealer and buy the little touch up pens they sell

There should be only 1 primary color code for each vehicle that's printed on the door gap. It doesn't matter your interior/trim/engine. The color code is used to identify what color your exterior is.

All the exterior trims that are not of the same color are usually sold separately than the major panels and those may have different part#, and they usually come pre-painted according to interior/trim/engine.

threads merged. someone just asked this same question 2 weeks ago. if you want some more info, read the prior 2 pages.

sfs2013, if you could - you think you could scan the painted area and come up with the closest match for folks?

Canyon Copper =RR7
Cabo Bronze = DO or D0. Hard to tell.

These are for the base colors that you see on the firewall. Glitter and clear coats make it sparkle.

Paint code for Rear Lower Bumper Insert

I dinged up the lower part of my rear bumper and the paint is a different type of Silver than the rest of the car. The color of this insert seems to be universal among all trims of the Santa Fe Sport, however.

Does anyone know what color it is?

I am not sure what the colour is but when my rear had some scuff marks I asked a body shop to take the piece off and repair it, and he thought it would take a couple of days. When I came by to pick it up he was on about it had to be more matte/darker silver colour and may need to be painted again one more time to get that same factory colour look. In the end I looked at it and said I like this brighter look and will take it as is.

I know body will notice the different front and back colour shade except me, then again I never parked next to another SF yet.

so finally I had enough of seeing the scrapes on the front cowling and with zero joy from Hyundai not knowing a paint code. I am talking dealer, panel shops and Head Office all not having a paint code listed,

I took front and back silver trims off bumpers , sanded them down and dropped them at the panel shop this morning to both have sprayed, I basically said "a close silver will do" so they said they will use colour charts and pick something similar, at least they will then both match and I will have a paint code moving forward :)

Has anyone had to remove their front and/or rear skid plates for repair/replacement without having to remove their bumpers?

The front and rear skid plates on my new 2018 SFS need to be replace due to being stained by the dealer.

They are saying that both bumpers need to be removed in order to perform the swap but I think it might be possible without doing that. I would rather them not have to remove the bumpers as the car just recently had to get polished due to severe swirl marks also installed by them.
