So my girlfriend wants to do an engine swap with her 04 Hyundai Tiburon. She has an organ donor ready to go. At the moment she has a 4cyl Elantra engine in hers now, and wants to put the 6cyl Tiburon engine in it.
The problem is that the organ donor is an automatic, and hers is a manual. There's no way she'll go to automatic.
So in summary, am I able to put an engine from an automatic Tiburon in a manual Tiburon?
I'll be using all necessary guts from the donor Tibby. From what I understand, they're in good condition.
I'm not sure if she had the 4cyl stock or the 6 originally. If it matters, I can ask… Or I'll probably just put that in a double post after asking once she comes back from her brother's.
