My wife drove the car for about 10 minutes and this message popped in and the vehicle went in limp mode. She was scared as she tried to accelerate without success. I stayed with her on phone until she managed to pull over to a nearby grocery store parking lot. There was some lights on : check engine, battery and hybrid. She called Road assist and went with the car to the dealer that sold it to us. By the time we arrived, the service was closed so we have to wait until tomorrow to hopefully get some news. I got a picture later on, but two lights did not came back on.

We are pretty upset because we got the car one month ago and it has only 2200 Km mileage.

Until there is any feedback from the dealer, it would be difficult to suggest what could have gone wrong here. The hybrid system is complex, and it could be related to the battery pack, the regeneration system, the electric motor. those messages seem to show you have a sufficient amount of power in the battery, so rather see what the feedback is, and see from there.
Hopefully it's a minor issue and is easily reset.

Hello! Same issue here as well. Purchased the car about 2 weeks ago. My wife went to start it this morning and it won't start. Error message attached. Hyundai roadside is coming to pick it up and take it to the dealer. Hopefully this isn't too much of a hassle to fix. Will keep updated on what dealer says and tries to do.

I am sorry to hear about your issue. It has been a week since the car stays at the dealer to be repaired. Apparently it was the first one to have this issue and Hyundai tries to investigate it maybe to know what is happening. I expect that will take another week before it gets repaired. It is a very unfortunate situation and we are not happy with it.

Three weeks since our car is at the dealer waiting to be repaired. It should take another week to be done, but I lost any hope. After many back and forth diagnoses, it looks like it was an electronic failure (I don't remember exactly what piece was broken) and they are waiting for it to be shipped from Korea.

I went today to the dealer to take home our car. All in all, it lasted one month to be done. I can say I am now very disappointed that a new car can show this kind of issues.

I checked the papers I got from the dealer and it says they had to change the HPCU (hybrid power control module) and program maybe the new unit. I am not sure how to interpret everything. I just hope anyone who get similar issues to talk with the mechanics about this issue. They may solve it faster than in our case.

Hey everyone. We just picked up ours today. Reading the paperwork, it was the same issue as OP. Definitely should not happen on a brand new car. I'm happy the issue is fixed for both parties but still unhappy with the length of time it took to troubleshoot and repair. I agree with Montreal guy to discuss with your mechanic if experiencing the same issue. Best of luck.

Hi. Aware this is an old post and you might not be the current owner, but I try anyway.
Having the same issue with my 2021 and was wondering if you have any more information on this, i.e. Fault codes. Did the repair permanently fix the problem? I am also situated in Norway.
Best regards.
