Husky Cargo Area Liner...

It came today! I was told it wouldn't ship until Oct. 1st, but then got it this morning and installed it. Says it will take a while to lay flat.

Just got mine in from Hyundai Prime in Quincy and they don't fit. No grommets in back mats and front gromet holes too small. Dealer said these are the only ones they have. SO, I took a dremel with a small sanding attachment and slowly and carefully made the holes in the front mats longer. Took awhile but I got them just big enough to securely snap into place. These suckers aren't going anywhere-LOL. I won't bother punching holes in the back mats as it is rare anyone sits back there especially in the winter. What a pain in the neck. Not to mention I broke 3 fingernails in the process. UGH!

I have the husky cargo tray. It fits fine. I had the santa fe one in my 2008 and it's much more heavy duty. It doesn't fold though but I don't really use the compartments underneath anyway.
Finding things for this new model is a trial. I have roof rails on order from my dealer and they have no idea when they will come from the factory. Could be months they said.

Ah, ok. Misunderstood ... rails are the supports that are attached to the vehicle and go from front to back on either side of the roof. I think what you are referring to (ie. what the dealer included) are the cross bars that attach to the rails. I was curious because there has been lots of discussion about the inability to get rails on SFs with panny roof.

I know this thread is a little old but thought I would throw in my 2 cents...

After looking around for decent floor liners I ended up ordering Husky Floor and Cargo Liners for my new Santa Fe. Durable All-Weather Floor Liners | Husky Liners WeatherBeater

I purchased them from Husky Weatherbeater Floor Liners - Best Prices & 2260+ Reviews on Husky Weather Beater Floor Mats . I had to call them for a discount but got the front and rear liners along with the rear cargo tray for $227 shipped. Not too bad.

As an FYI I contacted Weathertech yesterday and they said it would be at least 6 weeks before they were ready. I really wanted the Weathertech because I think that they are a little nicer but 6 weeks puts it at the end of February or beginning of March. How long has this vehicle been out?? Seems like Weathertech missed the ball on this one...

They screwed no one but themselves. Everyone is just buying their competition. Once they do, and realize the competition is on par with the Weathertech product, they will continue to buy from the competition.

#139 ·
Thanks for the input. :) I'll check out their site and then research the best price on the net.

I've had the All-Weather mats in my truck since 07' and they're still in great shape...the wifey has expressed a need for the same in her SFS.

Rubber floor mats?

I just looked on WeatherTechs site and ill be damned.... They have them listed. Of course they may be on back-order too. I ordered vent shades for my 11 optima and there was NO indication it was going to be 30 days before I got them.

I've the WT in 2 other cars, but went Husky Liners because they were in stock. I don't think anyone would be disappointed with the Husky Liners.

WOW. I was just on there yesterday afternoon and nothing. I called and she said six weeks. Apparently the right hand wasn't talking to the left hand. Oh well...
As you said though, maybe they actually are not made yet. Someone on here order a set quick and see if they ship right away!

Thinking if I should pull the trigger , anybody else looking to order from weather tech . I didn't see option for sport or lwb Santa fe , but I suppose this is for the sport.

I'm going to order some for the front row in about a week probably.

Once you pick the vehicle and the Digital Fit liners, it prompts you and asks if it has third row seating or not - I suppose this would be where you choose for LWB or Sport.

Rubber floor mats?

After two weeks of not getting my vent visors I called. That was when I found out they were back-ordered. And when I questioned why the was no indication of this when I ordered. Response was " I'm sorry about that and we will keep you at overnight shipping, but not charge you." The 03 accord and 11 optima mats were here within days of ordering.

I still like WT and had it been summer I would have waited, but with all the snow we were getting I wasn't about to wait any longer. We still have another 2013 Santa Fe and may get them for that one.

If it turns out they are way better than my Husky Liners, which I can't imagine as they are just as good as my
WT's were, I may go back.

I ordered my weathertech floor and cargo liner yesterday. Talked to them on the phone today and was told that they will be shipping on monday. Hope they are worth the wait

Also what is the pre post September 10th thing. That is the day i bought my Santa fe so i know it is pre, but what does that mean for me?

#149 ·
The pre/post September thing is in regards to the hooks for the floor mats. I believe that they changed the spacing on the hooks for the front mats. The rear mats either have hooks or don't is my understanding. Mine, which was mfg in August, does not have the rear hooks. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the front ones fit.

BTW... Just got a notice that the front and rear mats shipped via UPS and will arrive Friday (2 days). Yippeee!! The cargo liner has not shipped yet but that is a low priority for me anyhow.

Got my Husky mats today. They are thinner than I expected and more of a plastic material than a rubber material that I was expecting. Not a bad thing, just different than what I was expecting. The cargo tray is on back order so did not get that yet.
When you look at my pictures you will see that the outside portion of the driver mat is not sitting nice against the door threshold. It is quite cold out (10F) and they have been on the UPS truck for at least a day so I am hoping that they settle down into their correct position. I am fairly confident that they will.

Also, the hooks lined up correctly for the front mats on my Santa Fe which was built in August of 2012. The rear mats have "pockets" for what I would suspect to be the hook location, however my SFS does not have hooks. Also, on both front and back mats they have "nubs" sticking out of the back of them to hold them against the carpet and keep them from shifting. They are very pointy and very sharp. It would be tough for them to shift at all IMHO.

Rubber floor mats?

My Husky Liners fit perfectly. They do not sit away from the sides like your pictures. I bet that is from shipping. I would get a blow dryer and try to reshape them. If that doesn't work I'd call them. Like I said mine fit all the way around very well.

As for the cargo one.... There is one on eBay for 50 bucks and is a hyundai one with Santa Fe. Definitely getting that one.

Interestingly enough I emailed Weather tech two days ago questioning whether the mats were ready to ship same day or if they were just placed on the website as eye candy (not really how I worded it). I had mentioned the 6 week quote that I had received two days before that. Their response was *crickets*. Yep, no response.

nice.

weather tech was not the greatest to deal with through email. but let me tell you in talking to them on the phone they have been great. i ordered mine on wednesday and called them about the order the floor liners and cargo mat are being made and shipped on monday. so i think anyone who orders them will be ok, or atleast i hope.

#158 ·
FYI for Canucks.
I ordered WT floor liners direct from WT Canada as it showed available on their website.
I called them inquiring about delivery and lady on phone told me one month as they have yet to get their shipment from WT USA.

Just installed both the front and rear OEM "All Weather Floor Liners" last night. They fit perfectly and since the dealer threw them in I wasn't worried about the cost. Should help with all the salt from the roads out here.
