BOSE audio system question

Hi -
I'm a new owner of a 2021 Hybrid Limited. I love the car, and the Bose system sounds very good, but I think I have a problem with the audio system, or at least a problem getting used to it.

The system REALLY wants to use the front speakers. When I have the fader set to center, I am hearing almost all front speakers, when I move the fader to full forward, the only difference I really notice is some drop off in bass ( i guess the sub is getting cut off then). I have to move the fader 5 clicks to the back to get what seems like a balanced sound to me.

I confirmed that there is sound coming from all 5 rear speakers, but even when I'm sitting in the rear seat, it seems like most of the audio is coming from the front of the car.

So, is this the way they want the system to behave, or do I have an issue? Any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks,
Tom

Yeah.. they put 7 speakers in front of you and the speakers in the back suck. I sat in the back seat one day to give it a listen and its pretty bad sounding back there. You can turn centerpoint on but it just kind of cuts/limits all the speakers on the dash so you just get a muddy, echoey "surround" sound from all of the door speakers. I just have accepted it for now. Will definitely upgrade the system eventually though... it's one of my least favorite parts of the car now that I've owned it for a bit.
