Blue Link not working when it's cold out?

Has anyone else had issues with Blue Link and remote starting from the app when it's cold outside? This has happened before for a couple of days a couple of months ago but I thought it was just cellular service issues in my area because it worked when the car was at the train station but not at my house. However, today it was 30F and the app was unsuccessful at starting the car and thinking back to the previous time I had issues was when it was cold and there was frost on the car. Has anyone else had this experience?

No. Only time I've had trouble with blue link occurs when the signal is obstructed due to the car being in location where the signal can't reach it or (in the car my wife uses) has not been driven for awhile. I've never had issues with blue link when it comes to weather. I've had 7 Sonata's with blue link active over the past 10 years and aforementioned failures are the only issues so far.

Thanks for the input. Just strange that it has been working without issues since the previous days when the temps dropped. I'll see what happens tonight when on the train and then in the morning. Do you know who provides the cellular service that Blue Link uses?

I have no idea what service Blue Link uses? It can't be a very fast one.

I used to have issues with my 2018 Sonata when it was cold out and I hadn't driven it for a few days. The Bluelink app would just come back saying remote start unsuccessful. I called tech support once and they had me reboot the infotainment display by using the pen sized button at the corner of the display. I guess this forced the app to reconnect to the car and it started working again. I used this fix a few times throughout the winter.
