what are my options for a bike carrier? I don’t have a hitch. I have a limited so I have the spoiler over the hatch. I have cross rails but I do not want to carry bikes on the roof. Would prefer a hatch type mount but looks hard to find with the spoiler. If I had to I would get a trailer hitch. Anyone know install cost of trailer hitch? Welcome to any suggestions.? Thanks.

Check U Haul. They’ve installed bike hitches on three cars for me so far, and I will be contacting them next week for our new - picked it up today - 2022 Limited SF.Price will be lower, I am confident.

I’m new around here, our first Hyundai after a long list of Hondas. My wife also has a 2019 Mazda C-5 that is very nice, but I was captured by all the very well done technology on this thing. Looking forward to a long and happy relationship,

You do not say why.

I run a volunteer bike shop and get many carriers donated in. None that I have ever seen are specific for a woman's bike.

For SUV's I always recommend using a trailer hitch type bike carrier. In fact most days, there is one on the back of mine.

Things that I would consider crucial to the selection of one. (Besides price)
1. Load capacity (weight it can hold)
2. Ease of attaching & removal to your vehicle (including it's own weight)
3. Number of bike to carry (typically 2, 3 or 4)
4. Ease to load bikes (How high is the load point off the ground)
5. Clearance from tailgate to bike rack (can you open the tailgate with bikes on the rack)
6. Security (Does the rack lock into the tow receiver and can bike be locked to the rack securely)
7. Visibility (will the rack block your plate and/or rear lights)
8. Noise (Does the rack fit tightly without excessive play)
9. What size receiver does it fit (Typically 1-1/4" or 2")

If your concern is that a woman's bike does not normally have a "top" bar making it hard for the hanging type racks, there is a solution, it is a temporary top bar and come in various styles. Because we are always picking up donated bikes we carry them in our vehicle along with an Allen 4-bike rack almost daily

We also found that using an hitch extension helpful as we can fully open the tailgate with bikes on the rack, the make straight ones and also a riser type. We use the riser type (top portion) to get the bikes highest off the ground.

I know most of you think what is difference between men and women bikes.
Men vs Women Bikes- difference

1. The first difference between men's and women's bikes is that they're different colors. Men's bikes are typically a dark color, while women's bikes are usually lighter colors. Some men's bikes can be colored pink or purple, which is considered to be "girly."

2. The second difference between men's and women's bikes is that the men's bike has more gears than the woman's bike does. Men like to have more gears because they want to be able to go fast when they ride their bikes, while women don't need as many gears because they just want to go around town or go on a simple ride with friends or family members.
For more information, this may help you. If you need more help, please let me know.

I don't think those 2 things above are true. Men's bikes are not going to be pink, but typically, high-end bikes have 2 colors for each gender (bright and dark). And all the bikes I've seen at Trek, and other nice brands, have the same number of gears, men or women. The typical difference between men and women bikes is the upper tube is lower... but many women, including my wife, don't like the women's models, so she chose the same Trek men model as me. Men should have the lower tube, if anything, to avoid hitting their balls. Ha ha.
