Back up camera and warranty

Ok so yeah back up camera on my 2012 stopped working. I did research and I guess it seems to be a common problem. Issue as some of u know, blue screen with the guide lines appear.

So question, I know the bumper to bumper has fine print somewhere. Car has 42k miles on it. Anyone know if it's still covered under warranty? And if it's not, cost of camera...and if it's worth fighting for this to be covered under warranty (if it's not)

Thanks in advance.

Can't have a should be answer, I need to know haha. Called the dealership and they said radio is one year, and camera is 3 or 31000 miles. Just wanna know if that's BS. I know the radio is true, I use to work for Hyundai. But not long enough go memorize the fine print of the bumper to bumper.

I would be surprised if that camera is covered. They mean it when they say 3/36K on the radio and nav system.

Even when I was under the 36K limit for the audio system I had to fight to get my AUX port replaced. (Service Adviser said I had been using a "non-approved" connection b/c I had my phone's USB cable plugged in. WTF??)

Doesn't seem like its that hard to repair and I would think the part is pretty cheap---DIY fix in my opinion.

Also, did you do a hard reset of the NAV system using the paperclip method? I know many members have reported success after a reset. Could also eliminate the system itself as being the problem...

Here is relevant part of Jim's post:

Was your camera replaced under 3/36 warranty? Do you know what the cost of replacement is if out of warranty? Thanks

"My 2011 Sonata had 44.5k miles on it when the camera and P/Window switch were replaced under warranty. So far both problems have been working perfectly since the repair...."
