Removal of the bumper cover on almost all newer cars is an easy DIY job (like playing with Legos kids blocks). I've had them off my Sonata, sons 2018 Cherokee, friends 2015 Prius and 2018 Elantra and they are all the same. remove a few screws/bolts and then grab and pull and they pop off. The first time my grille on my Sonata got damaged I called the dealer to get a quote, $ 479 for the grille and $450 labor. I purchased the OEM Hyundai grille on EBay for $ 179 and replaced it myself in under an hour. When the bumper cover got damaged Dealer Body shop wanted $ 470 for the bumper cover and $ 300 to paint then labor to R&R $ 550 (because have to change out the grille and lights into the new cover. I found online companies that sell pre painted bumper covers for less than 1/2 the cost and ordered one off EBay for less than $400 delivered and installed in an hour.
Removal of the grille is usually required to change out fog or driving lights and grille so they are not hard to remove. Check YouTube for videos, they are all the same basic procedure.
On my 2017 LF Sonata I've replaced the bumper cover 1 x and the grille 2x due to road debris damage on the freeway so the bumper cover has had to come off 3x now.
Removal only requires a 10mm socket to remove about 8 bolts and then some plastic push pins and they snap/pop off. less than 20 minutes to remove (a few more minutes to replace, to be careful to line up before snapping into place).
