Anyone else have a similar issue where on light load, just cruising on highway at around 59-60mph there is a shudder that can be felt in steering wheel and even in gas pedal?

1) Check tire pressure -- should all be similar if not the same. Also, should be above minimum when cold.
2) Could be an alignment issue if otherwise ok.

Hopefully not a lane assist or other similar issue.

You don't mention which model you have, btw. It's possible to add that information into your profile, if you wish, so that it's always visible to others to help in answers.

Alignment seems fine
It is a EL Convenience
Seems like possible transmisstion issuse if you ask me. Hyundai said they cant replicate it even though you can faintly feel it in the passenger area as well

Hopefully not a lane assist or other similar issue.

As above, make sure all 4 wheels have been balanced by a good shop - if possible by Hyundai. Small shops may do a bad job on this. 50-60mph is typically where unbalanced wheels start vibrating. Front wheels cause steering wheel vibrations, rear ones cause vibrations in floor/seats

Temporarily swap tires front to back, one side at a time.
See if the vibration moves/changes.

It's worst at one speed due to the frequency excites a resonance.

Brake rotors?? Possibly out of round? Pads worn unevenly, possible chatter? When I do a brake job,I like to use Brake Quiet, orange liquid rubber compound. Never have any noise. Have your tire shop check balance on tires. With these factory mag wheels, could be a problem. How are tires wearing? Too much tire pressure will cause vibration. Some folks don't follow tire pressure on label on drivers door frame. They think pressures are too low. My .02...

I had only felt a slight vibration in the steering wheel but only at 78 or fasters. Told the dealer and less than 2,000 miles and ownership less than 3 months and they did not want to rebalance the wheels and wanted to charge a fee to examine the car. Who drives that fast when breaking in an engine the first couple of hundred miles I told them. I did not want to drive fast until I had some miles on the vehical. Did not want to pay a fee and told them to forget about it then. Normally a dealer would first try to rebalance and check but they did not to. Nice new car warranty! I would get a second opion and if shudder that bad, something is wrong. Good luck and please let us know what was found. Be safe.

Hi - looks like you joined this forum about a month ago so I'm going to assume that you just purchased your vehicle. Given that, the easiest way to move forward to a solution at this point would be to go back to the dealer and have them look at it. Imho this should not be a difficult issue to resolve by the dealer as it sounds like it is repeatable 100% of the time.

Good luck!

The dealer told me about my minor vibration at high speed they would charge me a diagnostic charge not cheap to check out my car and if i caused the issue, they would keep the $ unless a factory fault. Figured a new car they would do a recheck of factory weight to balance free but i was mistaken. All about money and leave the car.

Write to the CEO. Certified letter. Tell him its a new purchase, get the dealership response and the diagnostic fee. Hopefully, you'll get a favorable reply.
We have done that on other purchases with great results.
I'm also surprised that the 100,00 warranty didn't cover the issue. Plan B would be to take it to another dealer and see if they can fix the problem.
Good luck and keep us updated.

If none of that works and u live in a state with a lemon law see about exercising your rights under such! Or at least threaten to do so!!

Did you ever find a fix for this? Mind does this. They did just replace all my fuel injectors because of a misfire. I thought this might help. Mine does it at the exact same speed. It is not my tires as it starts and stops and starts and stops. It's not a constant vibration. I feel like it has been running a little rougher in general also.
