Hello all...first off I am a new Hyundai owner..love my new 2013 Santa Fe. I have a question about some things about it however. I am curious to "decode" the vin number for a couple of reasons. I have researched the forums here and I only could find a "PDF" up to 2009 that decodes the VIN# for a Santa Fe.

If I have overlooked one for model year 2013 I apologize but I would like to ask if anyone has an official Hyundai Source that would break down the VIN#.

Thanks alot! :)

Again, got VIN ?

Still early enough, you can call a California Hyundai dealer and speak to parts fella... he can load your VIN into MICRCAT and read off what it come up with..

Your Macaroni sticker that was in the window when you bought car should have the info in the vehicle description at the top..

If a official Hyundai Source that will explain all of the characters in the VIN# isn't available...is anyone here a Hyundai Tech that could decipher it for me? I called the parts dept. at my dealership as someone suggested and he was no help. Mine was a demo so it did not come with a "macaroni" sticker as someone posted for me to reference.

Thanks!

hyundai vin number

Hi guys - as real.oem is a free site wherein you feed the BMW vin number you not only get complete details of the car but also OE part numbers of each and every item that goes into that particular car. Is there any such site for HYUNDAI cars which not only dechipers the VIN number but also give complete part numbers
