Thanks for that but those are just generic decoders...and I found out a couple of those actually gave me the wrong trim level. That is why I posted my inquiry about a possible official Hyundai VIN PDF that would explain each character in the VIN#. I found one on here for the 2009 model year.

Still early enough, you can call a California Hyundai dealer and speak to parts fella... he can load your VIN into MICRCAT and read off what it come up with..

Your Macaroni sticker that was in the window when you bought car should have the info in the vehicle description at the top..

 

If a official Hyundai Source that will explain all of the characters in the VIN# isn't available...is anyone here a Hyundai Tech that could decipher it for me? I called the parts dept. at my dealership as someone suggested and he was no help. Mine was a demo so it did not come with a "macaroni" sticker as someone posted for me to reference.
