Dimming ang Glowing

How do the interior LEDs handle the dimming? I have interior LEDs in my 2007 Santa Fe Limited and I was not crazy for the way they turned off (dimmed down). It is very stepped.
Also, do the interior LEDs glow faintly when the interior lights are turned off?

I'm having a hard time finding a high beam headlight bulb for my 2013 SFS that matches the color of my 4300k HID kit low beams. I've bought two types, including Philips H7 Vision Plus, that are yellowish in comparison.

Do you Canadians that have HID low beams have matching color in your high beams? If so, would you please look at your high beam bulb and tell me the make and part number of it?

I presume then, that you do not intend to use your highbeams as DRLs? I ask because I was told by several suppliers that LEDs will not function properly at the 50% or so power that is sent to the highbeams in DRL mode. That's why I went with a Nokya 7000K halogen bulb. In DRL mode, the light is much more white than standard halogen. Of course, the high beam has lost some strength, but willing to sacrifice since I rarely use hi-beams. The bulb was recommended by another forum member quite sometime ago.

A Little Help Please

I received my LED custom kit of interior and license plate lights from exLED and installed them today. I took my time installing them, careful not to gouge or break any lenses. After installing 6 of them successfully, the 7th LED wouldn't light. At first I thought I had a bad LED, but then I noticed none of the interior lights were working. I had somehow managed to blow a fuse. Using the fuse guide under the fuse lids, the fuse extractor/installer supplied, and a spare fuse supplied, I located and replaced the blown fuse and was back in business. I've now replaced all but one. I can't find where the "console" LED is suppose to go.

Can anyone tell me where the "console lights" are located?

Where the 12V car adapter is. In the center console under the dash. It lights up the cubby.

Back Up Lights

I replaced the #921 back up bulbs in my 2013 SFS with these LEDs: Error Free 5W CREE High Power 921 Backup LED Bulbs For European Cars

Below is a picture with one of the new LED on the left and the OE on the right. The new LED is 2-3 times brighter when measured with a light meter a couple of inches from the back up lamp assembly. However, it is not noticeably brighter when looking behind as you back up. I need to do more testing, but I believe a lot of the increased light is shinning upward.

Still, I like the upgrade. I like the whiter light, and anyone walking behind the car is more likely to notice when I'm backing up at night.

I purchased the same set a couple years ago for my Genesis and then swapped them into the Fe. Bc of the projector they shine outward REALLY well, but you need to purchase the ones with the LEDs mounted on the site of the bulb to fully light the reflector and see directly behind the vehicle.

You can also use a stage 2 or 3 license plate LED for those that want to go the cheaper route when replacing the reverse light, it still produces a lot more light than the OEM bulb

I dont have H11s, I just checked both the low and high beams have H7 installed. The HID I had installed by a local shop here was pure crap, the workmanship was crap, they put also put in 9005 bulbs instead of H7 or the proper H11, it died on me today so I had to put in the stock H7 in the low beam.

I ordered a H11 8000K HID kit, warning cancellers, h11 harness off of amazon, I should get them next week I'll update here if I succeed.

For the high beam, I can just get an H7 white halogen instead of an HID right? are LEDs anygood for high?

Thanks
