Hi guys,

I would like to replace the puddle lightbulbs on the front doors of my 2012 Sonata with LED bulbs ( i have already replaced thr interior map lights and trunk light with them). However i am unable to remove the bulb from the holder in the doors . I mean i am able to remove the Red plastic reflelector/cover to access the bulb itself , but unable to remove it as it almost seems it cannot be pulled out (its aT10 bulb) and must be removed from inside the panel. But i am unable to see any screws or access points under the door panel to access the bulb from the inside .

Anyone have suggestions om how can i access/remove this bulb please?

There's a video on YT that uses a loop of tape on both sides of the bulb and pulling it straight-out.
(are these actually called "puddle" lights?) :ROFLMAO:

Yup 'puddle light's are the most commonly used name I've seen for them, the other one I've seen for them is courtesy lights
I'm going with courtesy, curb, or threshold lights...but that's just me!
