Hey everyone, new here... I just purchased my first new car which is a 2017 Hyundai sonata 2.0T. Only has 400 miles on it, but I'm already starting to look into things I can upgrade.

First thing I wanted to do was upgrade the rear view mirror. I've read a bunch of things on line and can't figure out exactly what mirror to get.

Some say to use 3Q062ADU00, but some things I've seen make it seem like this is not an exact match to the model year, but I should actually be using C2062ADU00. Price difference seems to be about double on the later posted part number. Obviously would rather pay less if they will do the same thing.

I got mine for my 17 sport 2.0T from Bob's Automotive mirrors. He's on eBay but I went directly to his website. It was $99 and he asked me to take a picture of the plug behind the mirror so he could verify the wiring to let me know if it was going to work or not for the one with the auto dim, compass, and Homelink. And it did and it was Plug and Play for $99. And a warranty. Works great and not a scratch on it.
http://www.bobsmirrors.com/ .....hopefully that link works for you.

You are correct. You need the second one if you expect bluelink to work. The first one is what was in my 2013. I pulled it and put it in my 2017 and yes, the homelink worked, compass worked, and autodimming worked. However, bluelink does NOT work. This is from actual experience! So I am on the look out for that second one as well. Problem is, it is pricey as **** compared to the eQ version..

Update. I ordered one from bobsmirrors. Its on its way. Cost $99 shipped. I'm assuming its going to be the older model at that price. But its very easy to change out the mirror. I had to access the wires to take a picture to send Bob to make sure I had the right wiring for the mirror he had. He said it all looked good.

Basically just need to remove the little plastic guard from above the mirror which pulls off, then you loosen a star screw on the mirror itself, it slides right off the metal mount, disconnect the wiring then reverse to put on the new one.

I was also looking at the C2062ADU00 that I can get from the dealer for about $150 with coupon but the service center is saying that additional wires need to be run and want $220 labor. I have a 2017 Sport 2.0T. I just looked and my harness has 6 wires in it already. How many wires are in the harness for those that got the C2062ADU00?

I have a 2017 Sonata Sport with Bluelink. The 3Q062-ADU00 was a direct swap. Unplugged the cable from the old mirror and plugged into the new mirror. I believe the only difference between the 3Q062-ADU00 (for 2014 and older Sonatas) and the C2062ADU00 (for 2015 and newer Sonata) is the 3Q062-ADU00 comes with a wiring kit since Sonatas prior to 2015 required splicing the wires. The included wiring kit was not needed for the mirror swap in my 2017.

Thanks aceg1. I Found them for sale on hyundaipartsdeal.com genuine Hyundai OEM for $ 135.00 plus shipping and tax would have been $ 160.00 total to the door. But before I ordered i did a quick search and found the last one, same Hyundai OEM new in the box mirror from an EBay seller "OEMPARTS" for $ 89.00 to the door (free shipping).

I should have it on Monday. Ill post pictures of the 2 side by side and the install.
I'm looking forward to having the "Homelink" feature because I have 3 remotes (home driveway gate, garage, work parking lot gate) now in the car to use daily.

Thanks all for the help!

Delivered the mirror today less than 3 day shift from ordering. It is a hyundai oem new part in box for $89.00.
Plug and play took 5 minutes to install. I've tested all functions , Blue Link, sos,CarPlay link ,compass, and programmed all 3 Homelink remotes into it.
Thanks everyone on the forum for the info on a cheap and easy mod.

There are many sellers of this part number on the web for under $160. I got mine for $89. Don't buy from the dealer just be sure it's a oem part and don't believe that this part number will not for your newer 2015-2017 sonata it does. As previous said it does fit but comes with a wiring harness that you don't need
Thanks everyone for the tip.

Sorry I don't know if it was made by Donnley for Hyundai. As shown in the pictures it came in a factory Hyundai OEM part box.

I did have it out last night for a run to the market and the auto dimming works correctly.

If anyone is thinking about this mod there are at least 3 available on Ebay now for $40-70 used in perfect condition. They are also available new for $135 plus tax and shipping from the online vendor in my previous post

Again thanks all for the info on this

In my case, I did not read the instruction until later. I saw the C, I thought it was defective since my car was facing South. I drove the car a bit (basically pulled out of the driveway, went a few houses down the road and turned back), by that time it was showing the proper direction, showing "S" when I was back in my driveway. The instructions are the same, drive the vehicle in circle. Not sure if I need to re-calibrate it, it seems to work fine now.

After reading this thread I went to ebay, bought it for $89.99 shipped on Monday around Noon CST and the mirror arrived Wednesday. I installed it Thursday very quick like everyone has said. Seems genuine, new and seems to work great. Programmed and controlled my garage door quick and easy. It came packed very well.

It came with extra wires/stuff. Like everyone else stated, it was not needed. I didn't even look at it long enough to see what it was lol.

I ordered the same exact mirror as the post above for 90 dollars on e-bay. It comes brand new with harness and wire taps and tape for all you need to install it. Whereas some will simply plug it into old one...I did the wire tap so I know that all functions work on it...took me about 20 minutes. Here are the links for ebay and instructions. We traded in our elantra limited for a 2013 hybrid sonata and not having a mirror with compass was almost a deal breaker for my wife, lol. So, I ordered and installed yesterday. I was worried about the installation as to screwing something up but it was real easy. Good luck if you decide to do it.

Sorry but since I'm new to forums it won't let me post links.
