Brake pedal part

The rubber stop between the brake pedal and brake light switch dried out and broke into pieces. Now the brake lights are on all the time - I added a folder cardboard in there to turn the lights off.

Does anybody know the name or the part number for that pedal stopper? With Google I got something like 32876, but I am not sure.

Same thing happened with our 2001 Sonata and there is absolutely NO help, photos, or anything else on the internet, THIS forum, or in the useless Factory Service Manual set. Thanks for this little bit of information. I'm pretty sure it's just another big Hyundai secret.

Great cars until they need ANY maintenance, no matter how slight.

I realize this is an old thread but I just had this problem in my 05 sonata and found it quite useful to get the part info. I thought I would provide an update in case anyone else runs into this. While I can't find anywhere that part number 3287636000 has been changed my local Hyundai dealer could not come up with it. He ended up giving me part number 32876-3Q100. The part seems to work fine and has solved my brake light problem. Only difference I could see was that my original one (or what was left of it) was white and the new one is black. It cost me $3.04 out the door.
