Big water puddle under engine by back engine

Hi
The weather was about 60 today. I drove all day with any issues. I went out to get something and noticed a very big what looked like a wet spot under my Veracruz. I backed it up to look at the stain better. It was wet. No oil or anything I could see when I touched it. I looked under and noticed a few big drips from when I backed it up. I could not see where it was coming from. I trued to feel around and see if I could feel anything. I noticed under the car were the what I think is the heat sheild was wet. I pit my hand up in it and it was just wet with no color or oily feeling. It looks at the back of the engine. Any ideas

Was there high humidity, did you have the front defrost on...a/c would have been on and the condensation drained to make the puddle.

First sorry for all the spelling mistakes. I just had all the breaks done a week ago and then to see this. I was a bit frazzled.
It was not humid at all. The only thing I did do was lower the temp from 73 to 69. The defrost was on. I had 4 in the SUV and it was pretty warm. The water was up in the heat shield were the muffler goes into the engine. It would have been at the back of the engine at the firewall. The stain on the driveway is pretty big. When I got under it put my hand up i found the water. It was not oily or greasy and was clear. Unfortunately I cant go look under today as it started to rain lastnight and will go till late tomorrow.

Thanks. It caught me off guard because of the time of year. It was one of those what now moments. In the last 2 years I have spent close to 5k in repairs and I just could not do it again.
