I am trying to find some used winter tires and wheels for my Tucson. I came across a set from a 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. It appears the bolt pattern is correct 5 x 114.3 and the center bore is 67.1. My only concern is the backspacing and the fact that these are 16"steelies.
Do any of you know for certain that 16 inch wheels will fit?
I am having trouble locating the backspacing on the web, any suggestions?

Wheel fitment site says '11 Outlander Sport wheels are 46mm offset
Tire --------------- Rim ----------PCD
215/70R16 99H 6.5Jx16 ET46 5x114.3

'16+ Tucson shows wheels 1/2" wider and 51mm offset.
Tire --------------- Rim ---------PCD
225/60R17 99H 7Jx17 ET51 5x114.3

So wheel is 1/2" (12.7mm) wider and offset is 5mm greater - which is roughly half the increase in width.
TireRack's preselected package for the Tuscon has 16x6.5 wheels with 42mm offset. All in the same ballpark. If they list 16" wheels for the Tucson, that size is ok. They guarantee fitment.

If your spare is 16" then you can use 16" steelies. I run a 16x6 +42mm with 215 70 General Artctic on my 2016. Paid $700 from TireRack. They mount, and balance for free when you buy both. Only downside is that they charge wayyy too much for the TPMS. so i would buy those used elsewhere, and get them installed later.
