My fluid container looks the same as well.

It looks like there is a compartment/divider at that point...making an air-gap. Not to worry! :wink2:

Poke a vent hole in the top of the empty portion, see if the fluid level balances ?

I would not do that...it looks normal and is functioning!

Is the empty area solid plastic? Maybe it's for strength.

They would not waste plastic...
