Anyone experienced this? I cleaned some ice-covered snow off my windshield this morning and found a V-shaped stress fracture radiating from under the black portion of the glass in front of the steering wheel. No damage to the outer plastic lamination, so it appears to be a stress fracture.

Have to go to the dealer where they will take a picture and send it to Hyundai.

Happen to my 2013 after a couple of months, dealer replaced the windshield under warranty after checking there was no stone chip along the crack line.

As long as there is no visible stone chip or impact point along the trim you should be good for warranty coverage.

Stress fracture covered by warranty

As long as there is no visible stone chip or impact point along the trim you should be good for warranty coverage.
I was told that also. The lamination is unblemished, so only the glass fractured. They took a picture of it and will get back to me in 3-5 days.

The pieces actually move while driving and are only supported by the lamination. Hope we don't get more freezing rain while I'm waiting for the glass to be replaced.
