I have a 2002 sonata that will not start. I lost my original keys while washing my car the other day. When i went to use my backup set i realized the remote entry did not work so i had to use my key to unlock the car. When i did so the alarm sounded and my dad disconnected the battery to get the alarm to stop going off. Upon trying to start the car all i got was a clicking. I replaced the battery and got the starter tested and it was in fine working condition. I dont know where to go from here? Is it the alarm? Anyway to disconnect it? I found my original keys and its remote is no longer working now i am quite confused!

sounds as if the car has lost its security settings, it happens to some fords alot, not sure about hyundai, if you can get a scanner and hook it up to it, and there should be a reset option somewhere to relearn they keys and such, or call a dealership and ask.
